microwave sterilization

Has anyone had success sterilizing substate in the microwave?? Im low on money so i dont want to buy a pc.

I sterilized floured parakeet seed and verm in the microwave and havent had any issues with contamination here is a link to the post:

Sweet. I looked in the FAQ and it said you could do it. I just wanted to know how well it worked. I did a karo tek in the microwave with no contams
