it's probably a mutation (that sounds scary doesn't it). I'm currently working on fruiting a white strain of amazonians. Casing is fully grown now they can start pinning any moment now.
Did you know that white form of the normal button mushrooms (agaricus bisporus)also is a mutation of the natural brown form?.... ------------------

clone that puppy. use peroxide agar, it's easy and will produce all white shrooms, neeeeetoooo! peroxide agar------------------

I recently cloned a pes hawiian that had a stem growing out the top of the cap. Now i have a full try of these mushrooms. There cool looking.

The mushies are definately very fluffy... are these shrooms potentialy a little extra potent? (The fluffy white does contain some of the good stuff, no?)DexBud Im still wondering about why though (in more ways than one ;-) ------------------

It's an albino, why? Genetics is the easy question. I don't wanna get into the complicated one. They aren't all that uncommon, depending on the strain.myc, how 'bout some pics? ------------------
