Im not against most of the values and ideals of true environmentalists, but i hate most of the people who follow it. In my experience i find a great deal tend to bealive in it dogmatically and have no understanding about what is going on.

Anyone ever see the pen and teller "bullshit" episode where they went to big green peace gathering and got tons of people to sign a petition to ban h2o beacuse they called it by its scientific name and used the same alarmist tactics that alot of the green peace leaders use.

Also groups like ELF and ALF serriously overshadow the positive things done.

And i thought i would include a true story: A cousin of mine who lives in new england a couple years ago bought a fur coat. But she is an animal lover so she got one that is synthetic. Felt and looked exactly like animals fur so why not. Well someone actually had a cup of paint and dumped it on her coat while she was walking down the street. Luckily there was a cop close by who caught the person. Im not sure what ended up happeneding but i can sure bet that person felt like a dumbass.

Mine has a V-6 not too bad on gas. and plenty of room to bang in the back.

The reason that i'm not against SUV's is because they use gasoline just like my car, but only to a different degree. I don't know where you draw the line on how much gas is acceptable for an automobile to use.

We need to work on weening ourselves off of fossil fuels altogether. Until we do that, it's pointless to point fingers at people for using more gas.

Its not really the fault of people who drive their 4x4s around town and never get mud on their tyres. If the car manufacturers made an effort to improve fuel efficiency it wouldnt matter what people drove But fuel economy is at its worst level in 22 years which is basically a criminal act to enable the oil companies to rip us off. Does anyone seriously believe that we couldnt have improved fuel economy in the last 20 years if we had tried?
