Virginia Actives?
    #20044715 -

Hey everyone, as stated before I'm relatively new to the mushroom world and one of the things that's a bit bothersome is the general lack of proof of any actives in Virginia, in the wild of course. As for me for example, for those who know what I'm talking about I live in northern Virginia in fairfax county, after doing quite a lot of hunting I've come up with only one possible identification of an active, of course I could just be a bad hunter but I've noticed that many others can't find any around this area.

If anyone can provide pictures of actives found in Virginia and the environment they were found in and possibly the actual location of where they were found, would be extremely appreciated by myself and many others.

Additionally, it would be helpful to know when exactly, season wise month wise to look for specific mushrooms in the area.

Thanks for any help everyone
