To avoid temperature stratification, use a water bubbler.

u dont need the water, in fact imao it increases chances of contams, if ur using a heating pad instead of an aquarium heater, the just put the heating pad on the top shelf of ur closet , and set the jars next to it(not on top of it , but beside it

Use a tub in tub.

The little pump is in there to mix the water up so it heats from all sides rather then just the bottom.

A friend of mine got a 4 inch/7.5 watt heater for small 2-5 gallon tanks, will this be sufficent?? It also dosn't have a thermostat so should he put it on a timer? You seem to know whats up. Any help would be great.

If your containers are small enough (=<3gl.) you should be fine. You don't want it on a timer since you couldn't keep a steady temp then. Get a thermometer and put it inside the incubator (with the jars, not the water). Adjust the temperature according to the themometer every 30 min until you have a steady 80-85 F. Check it to see if it stays the same temp until you have complete faith in it. If you want to go any bigger though, go with a 25 watt heater at least.

Actually I use an aquarium heater for incubation my question was for pasteurization .How do I fix the temp higher then 140F to submerge the pile in it?(my aquarium heater is not enough for this temp.so is there any other ways?)

Mahgosh Magash,
What kind of pump is that you are using to stir the water? And from the looks of it I don't think you really need those zip-ties to hold down the tub, its got enough weight.

The pump is one of those out of the little fountains that go on a table. 60 gph is the rating. You can get them at Home Depo or at any pet store.

Sometimes things grow in dixie cups.
