Drug study for Schizophrenia drug.

My friend recently awared me of a study going on in my area testing a new schizophrenia drug. The gist of the study is this.

They IV Ketamine to just below sub K-hole/anesthetic doses and then dose you with either; A Placebo, or a new drug called "Tak-063".

When its all said and done I get paid 1800 bucks.


has anyone had any experience with this type of thing? 1800 bucks would be a big chunk out of the motorcycle I'm getting this summer but then again is it worth playing with my brain like this...

I'm confused, are they treating schizophrenia with ketamine combined with tak-063?
Do you have schizophrenia? Your posts seem pretty coherent.

Sounds like a high price to pay but I have seen a person do worse. One dude wanted to go for a study that had him remove one of his testicles. He would've done it but he wasn't fit enough for it.

No they dose you with Ketamine to put you in a "psychotic state" Similar to schitzophrenia and then they dose you with tak-063.

Either way my friend is doing it this thursday and he is going to let me know how it goes. In my perfect world I will just go in there get some IV k a placebo and hang out and play video games all day while getting paid and free food. :biggrin:

huh? I didn't look closely at the link I posted. The one my friend is taking sounded exactly like that one while I skimmed it. The one I am contemplating is 3 sessions. You can withdraw anytime you want as well.

:lol: wouldn't that be great. I've never tried K so thats part of the reason I wanted to try it money aside. I love me some DXM so i figure K would be all the better :crazy:
