look for a compressed coco fibre brick in pet stores...I've never seen it actually called coco coir in any stores and the ppl there sure as hell don't know what coir is or if they have it :laugh:

yeah you could try and dunk it then case but dont count on much though. houshroom- did you power your shrooms, you gonna make some chocolates :smile:

It's there bro,ya should asked them for lizzard bedding..That's where you will find it...I think the stuff I bought was called" Forest Bed" something like that..Go look again in the reptile supplies...

i was there yesterday 11/1/03 and picked up 3 bricks for about 4.50 a brick

the "pet store" carries something called Eco-Earth which is just coco coir for like 9$ you get 3 bricks worth

Why is it even called coco-coir? are there actual packages somewhere with this name on it? I never knew what coir was, and all this time i've had some all along, that I use for my tarantulas. coincidentally, I use verm mixed with it for my tarantula as well =]. Hopefully he'll start to pin real soon.

Lots of times spores get on the tops of caps when you don't see how it could be done. The spores get caught in the slightest up draft and land on the shroom that they came from. I've found shrooms in the field all alone that had dark purple colored caps from their own spores landing on them.
