New to these forums, but not the sport! :wink:

This morning i was walking through a nearby neighborhood when i noticed a rather large patch of ringers sprouting from a well maintained lawn!  Certain they were Stuntzii, i began collecting them.  Much to my surprise they were in almost every other lawn!  I left most of them there, but i managed to quickly nab 350  of these gorgeous fungi!  Sorry for the grainy pictures :frown:, i just wanted to encourage some of you in case the fruiting has not been so bountiful in other regions of the pacific NW.

from the bottom picture they look like the outline of P. stuntzii. just be sure before you eat them my man.

Hi,

I Put your photos into Photoshop and kinda repaired them a little so now they look more like the stuntzii's they are. That way people can at least partially recognize them
. Sorry it was hard to get their color but the shape is unmistakablely P. stuntzii.


Take me to your patch and I'll make you some good photos.

I noticed the condition of the stems in the first imag3e. you need to kearn not to squeeze the stem when you pick it. If you hold it gently it will lift itself right out of the ground with squeezinfg it which causes oxidation. The less handled and moved around while arrieng them in a paper bag or a crackert box will leave one with a p more ppotent whroom without losing a lot of psilocine through oxidation.
