Hello guys!
Well, today Levi got off his lazy ass and did alittle hunting!
I mentioned earlier this morning in a thread that last season I found my first Psilocybe on Oct. 22(My wife's birthday!). Well, I've been putting it off until now, because of this.
Anyway, my wife's folks decided to celebrate her birthday on Sunday, today! So, I looked around the property and around the loop as well.
When I got back from the walk, it was pouring down rain and I'd found nothing. So I walked down the driveway and, to my surprise, I saw a single mushroom growing in flower box of all places. I immediately thought of cardboard's post last year about that species showing up in someone's flower pot! Hehe! I knew it was Ps. Stuntzii! Fellow mushroom hunters know that electrifying feeling when a Psilocybe is scoped out! Hehe! It's just too cool! Anyways, I did the crouch thing and sure enough------A nice blue ring! SCORE!
My day was surely beginning to look good!
Here's the single Ps. Stuntzii in that flower box!

HELL YEA! There is nothing quiet like that feeling of glancing down and spotting that mushroom that you know is a psilocybe. Good eyes on that one levi, most people would never have known it was there.

Can I ask what state that you found it in? (I thought that we lived in the same state)

I live in WA state, southern part of the Puget Sound AKA Doug Fir, WA! hehe!
I don't know where you live, Jammer. Although, If I didn't live in WA, OR or CA, I don't think I could've found Ps. Stuntzii! Hehe! Well, BC, but still I ain't Canadian, so........
