How many of ya'll ski or snowboard? I've been snowboarding since middle school, although these past few years i've only gone once or twice. Prolly would take a while to shake the rust off next time i do it

I recently got back skiing with a few friends. We didn't think we'd ski that long today. Mainly because I had to return back to my office to check some papers. I believe that someone went inside my office while I was away skiing and took the paper & shredded it to pieces. It was a very confidential file that is now virtually extinct for I couldn't find it anywhere in my office.

I normally wouldn't ski & I would just put my board on the side & watch as others did. I would actually throw it 50 ft away & sit out for hours. As I continued to watch them ski I beegan to realize my inner hunger to start skiing was also steadily rising. I refrained from playing for the most part. Other people would play without me & I would feel betrayed. I knew Id eventually get my turn to ski.

Snowboard.  Would like to that up again sometime soon. Cool feeling going down the mountains.  One of the crazier snowboard stories would be going off trail on a mountain in Switzerland  - that was intense, their mountains are huge and i had to walk uphill in deep snow carrying a board, also I think if you go for enough off trail you can end up in a body of water around the mountain, that would be crazy and probably freezing too.  :snow:

i bought new bindings for my board, but the screws on my old ones are stripped to shit and i can't get them off, so i haven't been able to try them out yet:sad:

On my first ski trip I was headed up in the lift and this dude comes barreling down the adjacent run. He hit a half pipe and landed straight on his head. Blood everywhere. It was really bad they had to get snowmobiles to drag him in.

Anyways I was so distracted I didn't realize the lift was coming to the top, worse even where you get off was really icy. I slipped getting off and proceeded to go straight down the hill. Because I slipped my ski came loose, and right when I hit top speed(newbie) the thing flew off, and I went tumbling down, right in to a tree. Crazy painful. Crazy fun. :thumbup:

I spent almost an hour looking for that rented ski.
