Why would you want that anyway?

We don't normally allow this because some smartass could get onto someone's computer (a friend dropping by, etc.) and try to get him permabanned as a joke.

cause i just did a search on what i need to do to delete my account and found out you can't.  yeah, i could just abandon my account but then i could be tempted to log in some time in the future and i don't want that option, i want a clean break from this site and this username.  a permaban seems like the solution i'm looking for.

i'm just asking right now.  if i can get banned i would like to make one last post and then request it.

People have been banned by request in the past for things like school because they knew they would still login otherwise.

You only have 433 posts, it would take a couple hours of your time to delete all your old posts, then change your e-mail to some random shit, then change your password by smashing on your keyboard and copy and pasting it in to verify.  Boom, no more account.

Just change your password to a random string of characters. It'll effectively lock you out of your account, but that won't prevent you from accessing the site if you really want. Maybe add a hosts file line to redirect it to 127.0.0.1.

Except he's still free to create an account which is why I suggested the hosts file addition.

If you really wanted to get permabanned, then start spamming the site using multiple accounts from the same IP. I assure you that you'd get permabanned rather quickly. Problem solved.
