But still we make our best guess based on whatever evidence we gather.  Our survival depends on that.

It seems like it to me. I believe that I have an ideal path, and Nature causes me to suffer to the exact degree that my personal weaknesses lead me off it.

If you can't see your ideal path and be guided by it (and it's possible that no-one can see it perfectly) then she will guide you with what are essentially a neverending series of bitchslaps.

Gathering evidence then is just looking at the metadata from the bitchslaps you get and seeing how to behave should you wish to avoid them.

"The conspiracy", it appears to me, refers to the body of lies that cause you to suffer if you believe in them.

I don't know whether I know anything or not. The more I mature, the more I sense knowledge but the views get broader and broader.

Accepting ignorance is relaxing indeed but there is a limit till it fades into silliness or even self-pity IMO.

Yeah it does seem to me that the scope gets bigger as one ages. I am only 31 and this is nonetheless very clear even now.

I can accept my own ignorance but if I don't know why I am ignorant it drives me nuts.

Where is it?  Is it that few very rich that are trying to control all of us?  I don't think so.  They play a part of course but imo the Conspiracy is right next door, or in yourself.  Your neighbor wants what you have, they want your gf or wife or your car or your position or whatever. They want to see you fail to feel better about themselves.  They want to be in charge of everything just like the rich guy but don't know how.  The conspiracy is in the heart of man.  Until we acknowledge that there is no real chance to change much.

What an awful idea.  I, for one, have no conspiracy in my heart--only good will and Compassion for all.  Allow me to prove it by being your next benevolent dictator.

I promise I'll only act selflessly.  :sun:
