IMO, we are conspiring against ourselves without realizing by trying to get rich.

How exactly, step by step, are we conspiring against ourselves by trying to get rich?

Afterall, weather the NWO exists or not, their power is solely based on our greed for money.

Yeah, especially if NWO doesn't exist.

Exactly. I also think they don't exist. But I'm taking it one step further, and I claim it doesn't even matter weather they exist or not.

How are we conspiring against ourselves? The desire to get rich is what fuels capitalism. And the desire to get rich is what makes people do anything for money. It's this attitude of the average joe that determines society. Not some elitist group, but the normal people.

You should read Listen Little Man by Wilhelm Reich if you want a more elaborate explanation.

Then are you suggesting that capitalism is inherently bad?

I disagree.
You are right about some people being willing to do anything for money, but it most definitely isn't the case for everyone.
However, money are not guilty foe people's choices, and if someone chooses to do anything for money, then it is only their responsibility and it possibly reflects the lack of a basic understanding on what's functional. I'm talking generalities anyways, so it is hard to identify a universal problem, since all situations differ so much.
Perhaps, if you have a particular case you wish to discuss in order to sustain your idea that money are making people do anything, then it would be easier to reach an mutual understanding.

Maybe I will, but until I do, I would be interested in hearing you about it, what seemed interesting or worthy to keep in mind, along with the conclusions you drew.

Just the other day this girl in my sociology class claimed that we only use 8% of our brains, and when the teacher corrected her, she seemed very pissed and didn't believe it.

Silly, silly girl. Everyone knows we use 10% of our brains. Sheesh!

She's about 2% slower than the rest of us.

The conclusions I drew is that we are conspiring against ourselves. Just click the link, there's a summary right there. What do you expect from me? That I telepathically upload the information I read there into your mind?

Listen dude, I don't have the time to read that right now, and I don't even have to.
You said that, as a result of the book you read you reached the conclusion that we are conspiring against ourselves by wanting money.
Can you explain your statements and how you reached them, or not? If you can't, then this discussion ends right now, leaving your claims completely uncovered.

Real standup guy, that Lenin.  Ordering acts of terrorism, creating a secret police force to crush dissent.  Just a terrific human being.

Attacking his actions hardly discredits his philosophy on capitalism. Try again.

If you want to get into a debate about capitalism vs. socialism, I'll go there.  I personally think both have their faults, but of the two, capitalism has the better track record, depending on whether you consider European-style social democracy to be socialism or welfare capitalism(Lenin would describe it as the latter).  That's another thing:  There is no consensus on what is capitalism and what is socialism.  Many libertarians would say that only a laissez-faire economy is capitalism, and any encroachment on that is socialism.  Many socialists would insist that only an economy where the means of production are owned by proletariat can be considered socialism.  I lean towards the latter definition.  And given that definition, every attempt at socialism has been a miserable failure.

True, but the wrong debate. I am merely saying capitalism is flawed. Lenin pointed out some fantastic criticisms. You can not read the book i linked to today without comparing his projections to todays economic crises. This in no way makes me a proponent of socialism. Marx, lenin, wallerstien, etc. Were very acute in their criticisms of capitalism, I disagree with their realty, context, and prescriptions.
