fuck i was just talking to my brother and he pointed out he's curious about what're they doing with all the information.  The war on terror is obviously bullshit.  he wondered if it was to help identify and stop political dissent.  My guess would be to create accurate models for psychologically profiling people, to further understand how to manipulate people.

I never said I wasn't a "sheep". Earlier in the thread the user I quoted referred to every one as sheep. I was merely pointing out the fact he is no different from anyone else.

Of course the fucktards on this board all cry when a true patriot comes around.  Better then some fucktard yes man that goes to a foreign country to kill a bunch of innocent because he was too fucking retarded to do anything else with his life so he joined the military.  Some how that is a hero but not someone that exposed our government's illegal/unconstitutional activities.  I personally think all the butthurt over this is comical.  You people are fucking sheep btw.

well, not always... just for a long long time. i suppose trust is more of a buried treasure then a commodity, and at this point, it's a very rare find, is what i think i'm trying to say.

you can trust someone, but for how long? eventually corruption.

look at every politician in history. you get a means to have bonuses or "extra's", and even if it's not legal... even if the person is morally astute... they'll still take it.

people take what they get, until they get what they want. what people want is power over conformity...

Maybe we should pay all our politicians like, a billion $ each - so that way they'll all have all the shit they could ever want, and don't need to be corrupt to make more money... enhh?! Good idea huh, enhh!?

I think we should just arm the middle east and use them as chess pieces whenever we get bored with peace...while hoping war doesn't make it's way back home.

Have there been any major busts or terrorist attacks stopped thanks to the NSA?
Any at all?

And have there been any threats to national security on any level since the whistleblowing?

I hope they hunt this guy down and cap his ass.  fucking traitor deserves it.  At any rate, he is looking forward to running for his life for the rest of his life, being capped by a CIA assassin or spending his time in the SuperMax in Marion, IL for the rest of his days.

Then we have the Obama Administration to deal with.  That's a whole other cup of tea.

The U.S. doesn't really have much of a choice as far as prosecuting him.
He broke very serious laws, including an NDA, and setting a precedent of going easy on individuals who commit espionage against the state isn't gonna fly.
I don't wish ill on him by any means, but the U.S. bringing him to justice is the right thing to do.
