It looks like he has dropped out of sight, which more likely means he's in the process of being extradited to the United States. And that's obviously not a good thing.

So good vibes to Mr. Snowden, a national and worldwide hero, and one of the most selfless people around. This guy knew he was taking a huge hit, but he took it for the good of the nation (although some people don't realize it...). He has lit a flame that I hope will not go out until us citizens are no longer living in a surveillance-state.

it would be cool if he had/has the foresight to have his people follow him at all time and video tape every second.

just in case if that does lead to the death his people could further more shove it back into the faces of the gubment

He checked out of a hotel and everyone thinks he's missing. I understand it's entirely possible, but I'm not really ready to jump to any conclusions so quickly.

No, I highly doubt he's dead. There is far too much publicity on this story for him to be killed - that wouldn't achieve anything, and it would cause an outrage. I'm hoping him going "missing" is hightailing it to Iceland rather than a flight to the states..

I think that this got enough national attention that there will be a national outrage if he is not given a trial.

Yes, but anybody with half a brain would connect the dots on that. We must realize, as I'm sure even our idiotic government does, that there is no reason for him to be killed at this point. You kill somebody to silence them, but he said everything he planned on saying. Realistically, Snowden isn't valuable to anybody anymore - the word is already out. At this point he's a symbol to the people, and a whistle-blowing criminal to the government - nothing more.

Read the several interviews with him around the internet. He knew when he leaked everything that he'd be giving up seeing, and possibly talking to, his family again, he knew he could be jailed for life, even murdered. He knew he was dropping a bomb and he made it as powerful as he could, and I guarantee if he had anything else to say, he would have done it at the beginning.

Yeah i also agree that if he had any more information to share, he would have.

he also could have said much more, but chose not to.


he is no longer a threat to the NSA.

I hope he is set free immediately and put into witness protection
