Data mining isnt spying?

I guess downloading a zipped file of music isnt piracy then.

But I forgot the article name / link , it was ruled by a judge lately in the US that they don't need warrant anymore

And the feds suspect 1000s of people each year iirc (many requests on all google data on many persons each year, google publishes the amount of requests from the feds so you can see the numbers, it is 1000-10000 or so iirc)

but this is just what I rememmber, don't count on them respecting your privacy

fight for it instead...

and if you have no idea how to fight , I would suggest setting up free wifi for your neighors so they can be anonymous + starting a tor hub to share your internet connection with the world, surfing from public places (from a livedist, and never logging into google/facebook/youtube)

everybody should do this

if everybody did set up free wifi we would get a new anonymous internet

(but they are making it/have made it illegal to share your internet connection with your neighbors, to ''prvent terrorism'', thats what they always call it)

No, it isn't.  Buy a dictionary.  Is the phone company spying on you when they know every call you make?  Is Facebook spying on you when they target ads based on your likes?

I think Snowden should be president(if the story about him is real), he is a hero, yet he stands for treason

that is how corrupt the gov is

the real politicans and presidents make scandals after scandals, but the people who fight for liberty don't get the chance

it will soon be time for the people to fight back, the gov will fall

If you think he should be President let him wait until he is of age, he may or may not be out of prison by then, and run for election.  Then you will have the opportunity to vote for him.  Of course the People may well have another opinion of him.  Neither you nor he represents the People.  Until then he is a fugitive from justice wallowing in a Moscow airport interzone.  Jullian Assange is hiding out in the Ecuadorian embassy because he refuses to go to Sweden to face questions about rape allegations by former worshipers.  Bradley Manning is in jail and has pleaded guilty to several crimes already and is being charged on the rest.

I wouldn't be so sure that you know the pulse of the People

These people(assange, Snowden) have "good" intentions until they realize they don't want to be martyrs and it's too late to go back to the comfort of their home.

OR maybe they ARE martyrs and would rather live in airports and embassies while living up to THEIR OWN values.
