Whats your choice of psychedelia?

This is a topic for PE but I don't care about all those drug-fueled hippies.
I want to know what my philosophical breathren prefer in terms of drugs.

For me its mushrooms or Lsd. Hard to pick one or the other.
But if I had to ill say mushrooms only because Im more experienced with them.:dawerp:

dmt, hash oil, shrooms, lsd (real not nbomes), 2c-b, peyote, mdma if that counts...out of all of them i would say DMT is my favorite.

Shrooms are the best if you want to hallucinate. Weed is the best if you just want to have a good time and relax. But if I had to have just one of these two for the rest of my life I'd pick weed. Just cuz I've noticed that anymore when I take shrooms I don't trip nearly as hard as I used too. I don't know if it's because I've done them countless number of times now or what but it is what it is. The good thing about weed is if your smoking chronic know matter what your gonna get blown. Especially if you got that one hitter quitter shit like I get sometimes, lol!:bongload:

O and for the people who say that weed isn't a psychedelic drug I say bullshit! Sometimes when I smoke really good weed and I'll be chillin' in my bed listening to music, I swear sometimes I'll hear the persons voice change and say something completely different in the song than what is actually being said. It's pretty fucking cool if you ask me! :pipesmoke:

lsd - shrooms - careful use of methamphetamine - then at the same level of interest (salvia, cocaine, mda, mdma) all of which provide perspective enhancements, or alterations that can be entertaining and possibly enlightening.

I have a bit of an affinity for amphetamines

as for "classic psychedelics" my best experiences have been with mushrooms.

Mushrooms used to be my favorite before I tried Ibogaine. Definitely a 24-hour Ibogaine trip gives me much more than a 6-hour mushroom trip. The Ibogaine-spirit is also more like a machine, so I find it easy to communicate in a logical way with it. The mushroom-spirit is more biological, and certainly it is an advanced hive-minded being, although not as advanced as the Ibogaine-spirit. If your ego feels small in the presence of psilocybin, you will feel even smaller in the presence of ibogaine.

There is however one huge advantage with mushrooms compared to Ibogaine. Mushrooms are physically very safe. It is highly unlikely that you will die from a mushroom trip. Ibogaine is however somewhat dangerous. Several people have died from Ibogaine trips ( mostly from deep vein thrombosis ).

Salvia doesn't last long enough to have any deep impact on me, and I have had a black out on salvia which gave me absolutely no experience at all. Ibogaine also has affinity for the κ-opioid receptor, but lasts for much longer than salvia.

True, it's short but stout.  At 60 my heavy long hour tripping days are over and I can remember and retain a lot of information in a short salvia trip which btw can be piggybacked for several trips in one session.

The last time I took it was I was sucker punched with a state of amnesia.  My environment looked comparable to looking down from an airplane before a skydive, but I also embodied the landscape and watched it like a time lapse photography of rivers carving canyons. 

What was interesting was watching queues of my identity slowly come into form.  Little things, like the occasional blink of my eyes, were nagging inconsistencies that were so familiar yet alien and strange to this state of consciousness.  When it finally dawned on me that I was a man sitting in a bedroom on hallucinogens, I roared with laughter. 

It's not my choice of psychedelics though. I find it jarring and comes with weird bodily sensations, shifts in the sense of gravity in my body and crawling sensations under my skin.  But it is totally intriguing, so I could see that, sort of :lol:

I've got a soft spot for LSD, DMT, Moxy, and shrooms. I do enjoy various other psychedelics, but will favor experiencing the substances mentioned previously.
