A couple lawn mushrooms

Found a couple interesting things in lawns...


First, Phallus impudicus, the ever popular Stinkhorn. With some eggs!


...and another! It's dry enough that they didn't smell.


These, I think, are Hohenbuhelias, close to, but not Hohenbuhelia petaloides. They were growing at the base of an ash tree.

Whoa, I've never seen Phallus growing in lawns.

Nice toxicman.. havn't seen either yet... That stink horn looks like it's about to get ripe....

nice pictures TM.

i've had dog stinkhorns grow on my lawn, flies and all. i may even have pictures on some film i never developed.
