Outdoor questions

My outdoorpatch is doing pretty well, now i was wondering, could i add unpasteurized (sp?) cow dung/straw (compost)? My outdoor patch is made up of some colonised brf cakes spawned into pasteurized straw. On top are 1 colonised brf cake, vermiculite/brf.
Now if i take dried out cow dung and break it up real nice put it on top of the patch. Will this be good enough? Anything you guys think i should add? Any tips at all? can post pics if wanted.

ya for outdoor shit just throw dung on it, pasturized or not, if it rains it will grow bottom line... just keep throwing ur cashed substrate ontop of the same spot with a cover of dung ontop to hold in the moisture..
