Question about Substrate Jars...

I'm in a living situation where I can't sterilize my own substrate jars, lack of oven or big microwave. Does anyone know of a place that I can order prepacked and sterilized substrate? excluding Shroom Wizard, he doesnt put the layer of verm on the top. Or is anyone willing to make me some and I'll pay them, shroom wizard charges $25 for a 6 case of half pints, I can pay $30 plus shipping for that. anyways, vendors or any way I can get this would be a huge help, thanks

I understand that he dosent put the top layer of vermiculite on nor does he pounch any holes in the lids. Perhaps this is done for legal reasons. This can create unforseen problems in cultivation however.

I know Ryche's site(thehawkseye.com) sells serile rye berry bags with filter patch but they are a perrty expensive. like 15$ for two bags not too bad but i have found the the moisture content in them vairies alot and is usally too dry or wet, and tring to add just the right amount of water w/ syringe has ended up in contaminateing most of the bags.
they also sell pasturized dung compost (DB) which is very good actully, but aslo a bit expensive.
I got much props for ryche and DB but he needs to improve those bags and maybe lower pricesa bit.
Maybe some daya vendor will come forth and sell a reliable and inexpensie perseriled substrate.
I for one a through with these lame mushroom kits and belive me ive tried quite a few with no luck.

It's been a few years but JLF used to sell two quart jars of sterlized rye (less than 1/2 full jars) with a cube syringe for $40.00... There jars had a bag of vermiculte taped on the inside of the jar lid with one hole for inoculation. When the rye was used as spawn on the pasterized straw you had one hell of an easy ready to oreder kit. However I think that there has been many changes over there. I dont belive that the pasterized straw is offered any longer and the jars are smaller.
