alright i really wana do the outdoor thing, but got one question. is it possible to use this composted cow shit like the Blak cow kind? also where the hell do i get hay from!

Manure from Wal-mart will work just fine. I think Wal-mart has hay too. If not, drive out to the country and pull some off those round bales that are all over the place. You might also check a feed supply store.

so a nursurey wouldnt have hay? and also, i cant use composted cow manure? i was over at walmart and found cow manure but it had compost in it.

Yes, you can use composted cow manure, ZooDoo was just that composted manure( granted it was from zeebras and other zoo life) but the premise is the same. www.mushroommagic.com has chopped wheat straw if you cant find it in a feed store or in the fields. bluhoney

Where do you people live that you can't find straw and horse shit? That's the 2 most common things where i live. I have a pile of it on my driveway from the stupid ass neighbors who ride on my property.

You can easily find straw at construction sites. It's often used as a soil erosion barrier. I don't think anyone would care if you grabbed a bit, just don't destroy the structural integrity of the bales.
