And how do you love your neighbor?

Introduce yourself, maybe buy them a drink, start slow but don't be shy. Just feel out the situation and make some physical contact here and there, work your way up

I don't think I could love anyone who subscribed to any religion fundamentally. It's one thing if they're a theist or strongly leaning towards belief in a creator, but I'm very secular and my family is very secular and there is not an organized church in the world that will ever be apart of my life.

I'm a bio-nerd. I don't know if I could deal with someone who didn't believe in evolution - I've only ever known one person who believed that dinosaurs weren't real. She was from a really conservative Christian family and maintained that all the physical evidence and the entire field of palaeontology was fake, she was also a 15 year old classmate at the time so hopefully she's upgraded her views to align with The Museum of Creation and started thinking that dinosaurs were real but they walked the earth when it was created along with man 5,000 years ago . At least then she'd acknowledge that they existed.....

I like to think that I can be as openminded about another person's beliefs as long as they are equally openminded about my own - politics would be no problem, but if I'm being totally honest, I could never be in a serious relationship with someone who was religious. Friends are one thing, SO is a whole different ballgame.

It doesn't help that every guy I've met who has been remotely religious is either not someone I'm in any way attracted to or is incredibly misogynistic and lives a blatantly hypocritical lifestyle(but goes to church, so it's kewl.)

If I felt like I really really connected with a religious person and was in love with them, it wouldn't be a dealbreaker alone - but unless we reached some sort of compromise and both of our thinking evolved to accommodate the others lifestyle it would probably cause problems down the road.

I'm about ready to give you a Bible quiz.

You act like you know so much about it when in reality you don't.

What did Jesus command His followers to do to gain eternal life?

Thou shalt love God with all tine heart, mind, and strength, and thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Hi how's it going, wanna kick Heroin basically painlessly on your own, in your own house, without any government "help" ,or the "help" of a crazy condescending, judgmental medical doctor? Read this:

You don't even know what that means, but i'll clear that up for you.

Romans 13:9

King James Version (KJV)

9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Fact, this commandment has been around since the old testament. It's nothing new.

Leviticus 19:18

King James Version (KJV)

18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.

Matthew 22:

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Correct. I don't know what it means. life to me is like a broken record. It's kinda neat, but uh..

Again, I just showed you that commandment is not new.

Those 2 commandments are the 10 commandments summed up.
