Is this so you can insert straws into your cakes?

If so, just buy a 60cc syringe at any farm/vet supply store and some 1 1/2-2" needles. Fill the syringe with water, flame needle and insert into cake and inject a set amount of water, try 5 or 10 cc, use different amounts and take notes to see what works for you. Flame between cakes and thats about as simple as it gets. It would take forever to get the drill bit to heat up and longer to cool afterwards.

I once tried those red or blue straws that bars put into mixed drinks. They are small enough you can just shove them in and use needle to fill straw and let water soak in as cake needs it.

Just some ideas, if that is where you were headed.
