Re: Great shots! [Re: Poison Drink]

These were either the first or second transfer from clone, can't remember... I had better pictures of the end result after a few more transfers but I can't seem to locate them...

Anyway, turned out two beautiful fruiting strains of really large fruits... Kinda so large I wish I'd chosen a different clone, lol... Had a coupe 70-80g fruits, and one was 100g once It contamed and got moved outdoors...

 Thanx o master, this is more the type of growth I'm seeing in  my dish. I started over with a new print all the way from cape town and  if I'm not mistaken its a wild cube that's been cleaned up. I knocked up some dishes on Monday with the Cape Town MS cube, how long on average will it take before I see growth on the agar

It was your old agar you were seeing this folded growth on, not your new cubes, right?Good thing you got rid of it. It was likely one of the Trichophyton or Microsporum fungi. These cause ringworm in humans!

As for when you'll see growth, I don't know. I know very little about cubes. Others here have the expertise to provide you with answers.

It was contamination just like you said, but I have 2 new dishes with super clean pretty mycelium will post some pics asap, so glad I got the hang or rather started climbing the massive mountain. Think the previos syringes was made by a sloppy cultivator, I made a new one with the last cape town print and wham bam clean mycelium almost cried of joy awesome feeling getting something right

Amazing growth SS.

It has an interesting way of progressing across the agar.

Thanks for sharing,

Clean, did you use antibiotic agar?

How long did it take for the agar to darken after the culture was tranferred on to new plates?
