28gB in my photo folder and I only have one gif made up... and it's not even a mushroom! Just a trout lily I found while looking for mushrooms. That uh counts, right?

This didn't come out as well as I was hoping. It was intended to illustrate how depth of field changes by altering the aperture on my camera, but when put together in a little gif it's barely noticeable. Anyway here it is:



I've got some more pictures ready for another .gif but I left my camera at my girlfriends house :facepalm3:

I really want to get a time-lapse going, but the frost is coming :sad:

I wanted to share the software that I'm using with everyone. It's Jasc animation shop. I think you had to pay for it in the past but I guess they discontinued it and just made it freeware for everyone to enjoy :grin:

Since you demanded....
Heres some shots of when cubes were grown last year for a bet.
Short story:
Friend failed and got mold, He bet me 100 bucks I couldnt save the project. I cloned out mold through 5 generations on cardboard. Then simple PF tek. Won the bet, didnt get 100$.
Yeah Joust knows his cultivation also... who would have known...

I'm surprised at how well it still works with pictures taken from slightly different angles. Just looks a bit like the camera's panning :lol:

Ok, for those who haven't seen it yet here's a couple of mega professional ones by elopidae. He hasn't posted since creating the original thread so i'm taking the liberty of posting the, for him. They're of a hickory shell infected with a bioluminescent fungus or bacteria shown as the lights are turned down (from this thread):

Elopidae, I wish you'd hang out at the Shroomery more often, I'm sure you'd make a top-rate user :thumbup:

I'm also going to contact a couple more users I know with mushie .gifs so watch this space!

Glad to see this thread, and very nice work so far guys.
Here is one I finished last week, it's an Ecuador monotub, partial frame.



This one I finished literally moments ago, and it's close to 200 frames, the Cubensis in this .GIF weighed 108 grams wet. (most frames are just intermediate blur/blend frames)


Much more to come.

Dude, that Cube is unreal!!! I hadn't even thought of using heavy editing in the gifs.

How much time is it roughly between each shoot?

Also what software are you using?

I have a nice Paneaolus cyanescens timelapse active, as well as a very large Combodian Monotub all the way from rhizomorphic mycelium breaking through the sub to harvest, among some other small time stuff. If it would fkin rain out here I could go grab some outdoor lapses, but it's been almost 2 months since last rain.

2 shots per day, (been cold, slow growth) 1 in morning, 1 at night.

The only software I've ever used for pic/gif making is G.I.M.P


EDIT:
I also made this one, it's the inner stipe/stem of a large cubensis, oxidizing blue.
I will post a link instead of direct image because it is obnoxiously large.
