Need help for ID on possible Amanita Amerimuscaria
    #17077978 -

Hello to whoever is reading this, I'm posting because I think I have found an Amanita Amerimuscaria. It was found on the forest floor surrounded by pine trees. It was found in Nova Scotia and had white warts on the top of the cap but it was also very wet as it had rained just yesterday night, and the warts have mostly fallen off on the bag I put it in. The cap is a yellow turning to an organish color in the center where the stem meets the cap. That's about all the infortmation I have on this mushroom though. Here it is:

Does it have concentric rings around the base?

If you mean the frilly rings around the base where it came out of the ground then yes, in the picture they are slightly noticeable by a darker color then the rest of the stem. Is this is a good indication? Thank you for replying to my post aswell

A. amermuscaria, it has the right base.  The ring and patches could have come off in the rain.

Hahaha, well I was hoping to dry them out & make some tea unless advised to do otherwise. I've done Psilocybin mushrooms quite a few times before and seem to be able to handle my trips quite well so I figured I would at least try it, I've heard good and bad things about them but I really just want to experience it myself and see how they treat me. If I'm not mistaken these would be "safe" so to speak of toxicity wise, correct? As in I won't die, I mean. Sorry if I sound uneducated of this mushroom but I've never actually taken the time to go hunting for any kind of mushrooms up until this year so identifying and all of this is fairly new to me.

According to NAMA's 30-plus year toxicology report the only death from ingesting Amanita muscaria in humans was from a guy who basically passed out in his tent after eating a meal of them and froze to death.

I couldn't tell you.  I've passed by tons and when I decided I'll try I havn't found any since.  For some reason I can't really back up I think if I do try them I'll do them like marshmallows on a stick over an open fire outside in my burn pit.  Heat, dry, chow.  Seems like a recipe that would have been logical through out the years.  Time will tell.

Like you said though the reports are anywhere from horror to extacy so I've always been hesitant.  If you commit, do a report
