invitro question

should i have my push light face my jars or upside down so not all of the light is on the jars?

there is no need for a special light for colonizing jars....just place on a shelf and the ambient light from the room will be fine.

they will colonize in the darkness, although light helps a little.

when its time to fruit then u want direct 6500k light on a 12/12 schedule.

12/12 direct on those low watt bulbs, as I've read... I'm more of a wild outdoors type guy.

I doubt a push light could produce enough heat to cause problems.

they can and will I had a 800 watt cfl setup fry a couple tubs , granted my absent temps were high, thy weren't high enough to be fatal, lights pushed them there

6500k lighting is not NEEDED for colonization.

Myc benefits from ANY ambient/indirect light during colonization....the color temperature doesnt become important until fruiting, where u want intense 6500k on a 12/12, but ANY ambient/indirect light will do during colonization. Darkness will even work.

correct, i was agreeing with you,  you can also fruit in the dark, harvest in the dark, dry in the dark, colonize in the dark, and inoc in the dark if your skilled, but like i said before, myc BENEFITS from from the 6500k 12 on 12 off at every step of the process
