eating 5 grams, sitting with strangers, & watching fireworks

ok let me start this timeline out here..

last wednesday ( a week from yesterday ) i ate about 3 grams of mushrooms. great time! i had a blast.

last saturday (four days later) i ate about the same amount and barely got anything out of it. thats what i get for being anxious and impatient i guess... =/

tomorrow, 4th of july. i will be eating around 5 grams. now what i want to know is, do you think i can still have a fairly powerful trip after eating mushies six days ago? i know everyone says wait one week, but i mean its only short one day and lots of people say they only have to wait a couple days. what is your opinion?

secondly, i will probably be going to a hill to watch the fireworks. im not sure if other people will be there, but there probably will be. do you think its possible to stay sane on 5 grams of mushies around other people that you dont know? it seems like it would be really fun to me, just wonder around town high on mushies and talking to people, observing people. what is your opinion on this now?

Tolerence shouldn't be an issue, you will trip hard. As far as controling yourself that depends on you...we dont know how much experience you have tripping or if you've ever done 5g before...

lol actually this will be my second time tripping shrooms, and the most ive eaten is 3 grams. should be a blast! lol.

because i didnt get high the second time, because it was only 4 days after i ate the same amount. i did feel a little bit, but it wasnt even really a weed strength high.. sad, i know. i spend years looking for shrooms and i waste em! tomorrow wont be a waste...

I can't imagine watching fireworks on 5 grams.  Last time I did 5 grams I just totally lost control of myself.  I can't imagine being that way around fireworks.  I don't think it's a good idea.  2.5 grams would be nice, tho. :mushroom2:

2nd trip + 5 grams + strangers = probably a bad idea.
There's really only one way to find out, but I'd advise you to try 5g's in private before you go public with that.

Ya...I have to agree it won't be "the most brilliant" trip you'll have...likewise since you have dosed twice in the past two weeks. But if you're intent on doing 5 grams in public with strangers...you're actually probably better off that it'll be weak.

I know when you're new to tripping it's awesome and you really want to go back "to the other side"...but don't rush in too much...the last place you want to experience level 5 is in a field, at night with lots of explosions going off in the sky, and strange faces all around you.

5 grams= TOO FUCKING INTENSE to be on in front of a bunch of strangers! I don't think you know what you're getting into here. I know I didn't when I had my first 5-gram trip, and let me tell you, I sure as hell am glad I was alone, because I definitely could not have handled myself around other people! Do not--I repeat--DO NOT take that much, even if it has only been 6 days since your last trip. Better to be safe than sorry.

True that.  If this is what it takes to get him to respect the mushrooms, then so be it.  But I'd sure hate to be him when he starts peaking around all those strangers while explosions are going off in the sky and he thinks he's under attack.

I'm sure he can survive the trip itself as it affects his mind, I'm more concerned about him getting arrested or attacking people around him if he freaks as he experiences the detachment of ego loss. This is what I mean about responsible dosing. It's decisions like this that make legalization that much more difficult...but if he can handle it and keep himself together...so be it.

Chocolate, I hope you don't think we're being rude...but since you're REALLY new to tripping, we're simply trying to help you realize that you haven't experienced the full effects of what the shrooms can do to you. Chances are you won't have a strong trip...but should you cross the tolerance threshold and enter into the higher levels of shroom experience (which you obviously didn't do on your first trip) you will be in one of the WORST settings to have to deal with the trip in. We're not being assholes...just trying to help you from making a mistake. If you do go through with it...please at least have a friend with you who can keep you grounded if you end up approaching level 5. Again, you have the freedom to choose..just please choose carefully and safely.

hmm. i dont think anyone here is being rude, and maybe i will find a friend to watch the fireworks with. its just that shrooms are very hard to come by for me, and i dont want to eat some and not have anything happen because of tolerance..

then maybe you should hold out on the mushrooms if you want to experience the full effects, you don't need to be on a substance all the time to enjoy your life, do you?

there shouldn't really be much of a tolerance issue 6 days later, so 3g would be plenty for what you're planning.

I've only tripped a few times myself, and only in public for the first time last weekend. I was at glastonbury festival in the UK where everybody is on something, and police wander around and ignore people skinning up everywhere you look so I was totally comfortable even though there were over 100,000 strangers around, but that was only 2g and there's no way that I would have wanted it to bwe much more intense than that. But it was ace!

Think of it this way. if you do 2.5g, you can wait a couple of weeks and trip again on the other 2.5g, and learn more about the mushrooms to prepare fro your first level 5 trip.

Just the way I'd lok at it :smile:
