6. Electronic music sounds awesome tripping/rolling etc.
7. He knows how to play a lot of his tunes/melodies on the piano. Not something a Lot of electronic artists are capable of doing.
8. I heard the mask is because he likes to go in hard on his shows. Like 5-10+ hits of Cid. Upvoting Obama if I do say so myself.

Yes some of his stuff is repetitive, but whether you think it is or not, his music is fucking insanely complex, just like any techno music.

Deadmau5 has gotten very popular though, obviously to the point where people are starting to think he doesn't do shit and that making music is a cake-walk. But deadmau5 has been good from the start, and his music is only getting better.
If you want to hear repetitive, listen to his OLD TRACKS, the stuff that actually made him popular.

Also, before you try to act like you know anything about electronic dance music, try to make it.

Deadmau5 is popular for a reason, he is unique, even without the mask.

It makes me sick when people are too fucking ignorant and retarded to respect hard work people put into music and performance.

My band and I wrote this track when I was 15 One of many, before touring
Really shitty ass recording but what do you expect for an analog 4 track and 2 mics in the middle of a room and a single take for an 11-minute song.

Sorry it's not poppy elevator music though

1. Man this is faint praise, basically a back handed compliment.
2. Legit Raver? Nerd on a CPU? Who cares? Chuck Berry touched little girls but still rocked. John Lennon was an asshole but changed music. This is basically the "True Scotsman" logical fallacy.
3. What musicians are into doesn't make me like the music more, if Deadmau5 raped and killed a women would you stop liking it, inversely?
4. A light show is a light show? Who cares, I've seen good light shows at the planetarium. Like I said, A lot of your points  aren't about the music itself, just the environment associated with the music.
5. Again, not about the actual music. I'm not shitting on deadmau5 as a person, just his music. It's boring.
6. All genres do. I love bluegrass tripping.
7. The majority of actually musicians play several instruments. I can play about 3 myself.
8. Maybe he's too fucked up to write complicated music.
