The Urbana and Milwaukee shows are shortly after I'm supposed to get back from Colorado, so it seems unlikely I'll be able to catch either.

However, there is a gap in the tour schedule for MoogFest and Simon will already be in the southeast for the Atlanta shows on Halloween. Fingers crossed!

im so fucking sick of posford sitting on stage pressing play and getting paid for it

FUCK shpongle, start touring as hallucinogen or even starting up younger brother again, something new...posford is amazing and keeps on touring as shpongle for some reason...once you have seen a shponge DJ set theres really no reason to ever see it again

sucks that shpongle is so new to people in america somehow

i knew who shpongle was at least a couple years before i started listening to any sort of EDM

Yeah, you have no idea. If you'd go and listen to one of his sets you would realize that he doesn't just press play. He mixes a lot of Hallucinogen and Younger Brother into the Shpongle tracks. And he throws in all sorts of techniques that make incredible segues and dance beats.

Oh, and I have seen it three times. The first time was okay but not that special. The second time was incredible and much more different and deep. The third time was also incredible and different from the other times. If you just saw it in 2011 you can't really talk because 2012 Shpongle is a whole new beast.

there IS a reason why he also has to tour with a gimmick now, whether its the masquerade or the shpongletron

its cuz he doesnt do shit live and now people can watch the lights instead of him

I heard there's a new Shpongletron, is Posford touring with that this time around?  I don't think I saw anything about it on the site.

Yeah, okay. The last time I saw him they were showing live video of what he was doing behind the Shpongletron. And it was blowing my mind. And I'm not clueless about dj-ing either. Actually go to a show or find a video of him performing instead of just assuming that.

ive seen shpongle as a live band (which i can almost guarantee u have not seen) and that shit was awesome
