To me that tells how far you actually progressed. Meditation is the foundation and beginning steps.

The rejuvination center or "heart chakra" (inner smile) is the thymus gland that produces helper T cells for the immune system.

The heart center is useful in metta meditation, it is physically lower than the thymus gland. We do not think with our glands, meditation is a form of thinking.

Be good.

We think with the entire body to be honest. Thoughts are simply patterns of information and here the concept of self and other somewhat dissolves because all of these patterns only make sense in relation to their surrounding patterns. Mach's principle.

"Everything there is, and all that there is, is a Pattern of unspeakable proportion. The Pattern contains everything that is, completely fixed in succession, all the minimal particles interconnected in every way that is. Every way that is is not every conceivable way, because not everything that can be conceived is manifest in the pattern."

"THE Human, you, is a miniscule but essential part of that pattern. In it lies complete fulfillment. It will never become something it is not, but it will never need to be anything else." - Wiccan_Seeker

"If boring drudgery was the way of the universe, everything would have killed itself long ago." - Spacerific

Thoughts are particulate matter of a waveform that only appears exist outside of direct observation. (subconscious)

Pinch your leg and notice how awareness transverses the nervous system to experience directly from that point without even thinking about it.

Subconscious work is being made conscious with conscious effort, beginning with cessation of thought.

there is no subconscious
why do you think there is one?

Dreams for one thing. There is more evidence in brains
in:

MYSTERIES OF THE SUBCONSCIOUS
Through the Wormhole

Morgan Freeman

Quote:
EXCERPTS AND SNAPS:

Mysteries of the Subconscious
Through the Wormhole

Certain parts of the brain seem to turn off
whenever we begin a task,
Those same regions become highly active
whenever we are quiet and relaxed.
Marcus calls thees linked sections of the brain
the Default Mode Network.
because the brain defaults to this activity
whenever we are not doing anything else.

In fact, the brain is just as active in this default mode
as when we're consciously doing something.

dreams are not proof of a subconscious, they are proof of a synthetic process during which associated images and remembered fragments of events are layered together and mixed into something new.

dreams occur while awake as well as during a shift in mental state, often from a deeper sleep to a lighter one (but it could be during a drift away kind of deepening of relaxation (jhana))- in both cases they are mental phenomena arising in consciousness, not the domain of some mysterious sub conscious agency(, which has as little proof of existence or need of existence as does any of the deities listed in the religions of the world.)

Just because something was historically misunderstood is not a reason to continue to harbor the wrong idea.

I don't mind if you say that dreams are manifestations of Mara, because then I know you mean it poetically, and it lets one examine what Mara is (i.e. the property of mind to be associative and synthetic during absorbed mental states).
you would have to mean it poetically unless you were part of a cult.

What do you call consciousness that isn't conscious? It's not some mysterious agent, it happens in the brain.

The best post in an otherwise horribly dry thread.

 Maybe you could spice it up by adding facts instead of irrelevant opinions. That is if you have any facts to offer, which seems doubtful.

What do you know about all this whitebeard?

Have you attempted any looking within?

Many waveforms exist outside of direct perception, observing the wave manifests the form.

By this I mean that just because the wave isn't being observed doesn't mean that it isn't there. It only means it is not being observed.

Which is why I think existence precedes observation.

body precedes mind
existence is a concept, ergo in mind, so mind precedes existence
this is how our language differs.

Not much honesty. I've looked within, I've felt energy, tho I don't see how it correlates with any of these man made systems. Just my opinion tho. If chakras work for you, then go ahead.

It's not "Chakras" that's what I've been saying this whole time, it is organs of the body, obviously they work for me.

You've been making shit up throughout this whole thread, so why would anyone take your word for it? Show the logic or admit it is just a belief.

What type of energy do you think emanates from your organs/chakras?

What makes you think I think any type of energy does? You would have to define energy.

As a pointer towards the organs/ganglion, relative locations. Chakras are beliefs used to describe the phenomena of the nervous system and organs.
