I thought about that too being that Im not rich and felt a little guilty but movies are a huge part of entertainment for me, I love coming home after work and getting ripped  and turning on a good movie, so I can justify to myself buying a bigger tv.  Turns out I went in to walmart today to cash my check and I talked to someone and they said they would price match the sale price for me if I want to buy it.  Its a realy nice tv only thing is it doesnt have internet capabilities which is a real downside but I figured Id just get one of those Apple tv things so I would be able to stream movies.  I was all set to go ahead and get it but then I read a bunch of bad reviews about sony flat screens that got me a little anxious about it.  My family has a 40 inch sony bravia thats probably like 8 years old and still looks as good as the day they got it so who knows.

Thats why he needs to answer questions like is size more important than quality and where this is going in his house. Like don't get a 55' tv if your putting it in a 9x5 room you wont see the whole screen. What the average person doesn't understand you really want the best viewing experience for you money its more than resolution and how big it is. But I don't really know him so I'm just gonna assume he did all this research already for himself and is making this thread for just shits and giggles.
