cpu fan connects to the motherboard, there are two or more sockets that allow for fan connections, otherwise a fan could be connected to the power supply.

aight thanks guys. how much will that run me. i was told its good because its small, quite for the chameleon. but if its lots i will just get a small fan and rig it up farther away.anyway thanks again

k thanks i get it now. just o'ne more question. or moreclearification. i dont want to get electricuted as i learnd when i was young buy stiking wires in plug in.( man that was fun firworks and a super rush) anyway what do i need to do to avoid this. also i have to cut off the attachment then sadure them unto the fan. how do i know + -.

great thanks guys i appreciate it. as soon as i get it finshed ill post a pic with my chameleon and him enjoying the nice breeze u provided.

It's a low voltage DC motor. The absolute worst thing that could happen is that it wouldn't work until you reversed the leads.

Yeah you can get a universal adapter or find one with the correct voltage and just solder it up. Ive done somthing similar with a cpu fan it works great.

well i got it all riged up. i got a 120 volt fan so i just clipped a plug in and taped it up. its AC so no worrys. worked out great but a little powerful but itll be good.
