Bought a PCI-slot computer fan, is it suppose to be sucking air out??

I bought this computer fan on ebay that fits into the PCI slot in the back of your computer. The problem is, it's sucking air out of the fan and blowing it out the back, not into it. I thought it would be the other way around. Is it suppose to be doing this? I know I didnt put it in backwards....

It's probably supposed to be doing that. Fans in computer cases work best when they suck air out of the case, otherwise you can get WAY too much dust being pulled into the case.

They're supposed to do that. You position them next to your graphics card to draw excess heat out of your case.

If you have air blowing into your case it draws in dust and can disrupt the air flow on your cpu fan.

I've got exactly the same one (had it for years). Lowers my case temp by a few degrees.
