The Descent of Humans into Cannibalism

There is something very serious here. Or possibly very funny. I don't really know.

Cannibalism as the eating of one's own species.

And now for something completely different... but on the same track

Education as the consumption of ideas.



And now let's compare.

Cannibalism usually is not practiced due to the meat being more readily used to create things like farms, bridges, clothing, electronics...etc.

Education is usually practiced.


Cannibalism can weaken the overall society by taking away that which produces what it must have to survive.

By education do you simply mean learning, or going to an institution and being taught what others tell you to learn?

Because I don't see where the same species part plays in.  I understand the idea of metaphorically consuming ideas, but how does it make sense to to say cannibalism rather than just eating.
I really don't mean to be rude, I just don't see what you're saying.
