Colorado will legalize weed in the next decade or two.
MMJ has helped people realize that the laws are goofy.

Weed has always been legal in my state of mind. And once everybody ignores a senseless law, the law loses its power.
Surely I wouldn't go outside right now and light up alone. I did that when I was a teenager and took a misdemeanor beating.
But getting together and actively striving to maintain this state of mind, helping it emerge out into the norm, is the big challenge today, isn't it?

Nobody knows.

If you talk to key opinion leaders (top level scientistis, gov officials, former gov officials, public policy experts etc.) the opinion is split about 50/50. Half will say MJ will be legalized, half say it never will. And these are people in high-level positions that are "in the know".

Yeah.. colorado also is maybe the only medical state that lets the state government make a dime off of medicinal sales also. DING DING DING.. thats money for the state created by the stoners. Politicians love money.

I think it is quite some time before it would be legalized on a federal level because there are too many hot spots of complete conservatism in this country that will seemingly fight to the death to make sure it never happens. However, many states will legalize in our life time and that will generate some HUGE national debate.

If you caught coast to coast last night a former narc from San Jose Ca discussed his new book on the under cover work he did. Even he thinks a WEED BEING ILLEGAL IS DUMB.

If you have been following my posts ( like you have time) then you would know that I got arrested with a wad of cash a scale and six pounds in October of last year. I finally got my shit back a month ago. All of it minus the scale :crazy2:

. So I guess in a way weed is legal now. It was kinda odd showing up to the cop shop and then leaveing with several manilla folders and a rather smelly black trash bag. Even stranger weaving through detectives and police officers on the way out. "puff puff oink oink I smell weed and bacon :grin:

Who needs legal when it's allowed.

Look at Columbia, Portugal, Berlin and a few municipalities in Germany, few municipalities in Spain, Czech republic, Denmark, Netherlands; legalization is spreading!

After all the documentaries i've seen it seems way easy to get in the MMJ program and it's quality is astonishing + your weed gets lab tested, as I said who needs legalization when you have such beautiful loopholes.

if you pay attention to long-term trends, than it's pretty silly to think weed won't be legal sometime in the relatively near future.

Look at the 70s. It was basically near legal. That went downhill.

Also, look at how our government is slowly taking away our freedoms. What makes you think weed will prevail?

Even though those are my beliefs I will NEVER stop pushing for legalized marijuana. I will do/do whatever I can to help.

the 80's were a minor setback for weed legalization. there was a huge push against all drugs and weed was included in that. but still, if you look at the long-term...it's only getting closer and closer to being legalized. the cat is out of the bag, especially with the creation of the internet, governments aren't going to be able to push propaganda quite as effectively as before.

from what i can tell, our generation is strongly in favor of legalizing weed. once the older generations starts dying off, i think it's inevitable.
