What is the largest pf tek/jar system anyone has maintained efficiently?
    #15850161 -

I know, I know, efficient and pf dont really go together, but things snowball sometimes and I would imagine for someone who has a good system might not want to screw with it (or just not use it).  I'm wondering where the line is where one would cross over to something better.  Is 112 jars over 4 automated shtguns worth it?  Also, with those 4 automated shtguns, would they be able to serve purpose in a larger endeavor or loose their purpose?

Thanks guys.

Hell no. The jars alone would run you $90+...not to mention the making/buying of the spore syringes. Way too much. On top of that, the prep time included in cooking a batch of jars. Maybe 10 at a time, depending on your pc/boiling pot = 2-3 hours per batch. Wanting to do more would require buying more pots/cookers.

Its all giving me a head ache just thinking about it.

2 cookers 28 jars each
56 jars in one run
2 runs (within 4 days of eachother) every 4 weeks

est 4-5 hours each run (prep/grind/clean/stove/noc)

investment made slowly over time...not a factor

self sufficient printing/syringes

2 tit incu's each taking 56 easily

could it work if maintained?

Who has mastered it to it's extent where it is a fluid system?

IMHO - I would think you would be way better off running 25% of those jars and just use the cakes as spawn for coir in 4 mono's (vs 4 SG's).  You would have way more output for less effort this way.

Thats what im looking for...

Some newer system that may use that most of the hardware from older system that it can achieve more.

how would something like this affect timeframe from start to finish and or yields?  thanks bro

see i am not looking to decrease time involved, but to use the same amount of time to create biger things, and with a majority of an existing system to avaoid waste.

Ill look them up...thnks guys

Actually the pf tek is supposed to be more efficient than monos and they give more bang for your buck. The smaller the cakes the better/more efficient, or so I have read anyways. Also I read in one of RR's post that when doing monos it would be more efficient to do 2 monos with 2 inches of substrate as opposed to 1 mono with 4 or 5 inches. Just though I would throw that out there.

that does make sense possibly due to faster achievement of full colonization

i mean 7 gr from 1 cake start to finish isnt bad right?  multiply that by a hundred and see if its worth it?

another thing....each cake is its own microenvironment...one goes- no big deal...a mono goes...you a fuucked.
