Any strain should grow well on PF substrate.

realy any PC strain will work just fine, but i am sure that the pf tek was originally intended with B+ in mind.... that is just IMO tho.

PF tek and MMGG teks are both good. if you dont have a PCer and dont want to buy one; most people suggest boiling your jars in water for an hour or so. i microwave everything, incliding my jars of substrate with no lids and cap them immediately and have never had a problem with contamination. I would recommend any thai strain for a beginner due to potency and very fast colonization time. I would also suggest puerto rican cubensis from sporeworks, i hear great things about them and i have 5 jars that i started last weekend, juststarted to germinate. they take a little longer to colonize but supposedly may be more potent. ill have to wait and see tho, 3 of 5 jars were germinated this morning. I am working on finalizing my microwave/substrate tek so i can post it somewhere. if you like pm me and when i get it worked out to an organized document i will inform you.
