I'd really like to hear Metal Machine Music, just to see what it's like. I read in an interview with Reed that the CD and tape versions put out were nothing like the original vinyl and studio tape versions; they just sound tinny and crap in comparison. So maybe it's actually really good!...

For what it's worth Lou Reed himself said he never actually sat down and listened to the entire double album all the way through :grin:

I like VU and lou reed alot, but i dont have any hard copies of his work =(
im one of the neo-technology ppl who have tons of digital music and carry around shitt like ipods to play their music wherever  :blush:
