Anyone that downloads music, help me out.

Recently, Rhapsody bought out Napster.  Anyone with a Napster account was automatically transferred to Rhapsody.  There was a reason why I chose Napster over Rhapsody in the first place, Rhapsody is terrible.

My library took a huge hit when switched over.  Rhapsody claims to have had a few million more songs than Napster.  I don't see how this can be true when a very large percentage of my library isn't found in Rhapsody.

The interface/software/library quality and quantity pales in comparison to what I had with Napster.

The reason why I used a subscription service in the first place is because I had peace of mind of listening/streaming to all the music I wanted to and be able to put it on my mp3 player legally.  I had no problem paying a monthly fee for this service.

Now I come to you guys looking for an alternative.  Rhapsody blows, and I don't want to use another $1 per song service.  Is it time to join the illegal torrent community?


tl;dr?  Rhapsody blows.  Am I forced to start using torrents?

Use google music to permanently upload your music library to a cloud server for free.

Soundcloud.com is an excellent source for music as well.

Make youtube playlists.

Pretty much every music playing device is connected to the internet now anyway, anything can be streamed. There's almost no need to pay for music unless you are supporting new artists (in which case, go to their shows).
