I have TWO questions.

I bought a pressure cooker on eBay for about $10 = $6 shipping & handling. And I have a bunch of bags of popcorn I'm going to be growing with. All I have to buy still is jars and spores. Here are my two questions.

1.) What is the likely hood of substrate-filled jars cracking in a pressure cooker?

2.) I plan on doing a polyfill lid (a hole in the middle of the lid with polyfill in the center) - do I pressure cook and innoculate the jars with the polyfill in the lids? Or can they not stand the moisture/pressure/heat?

jars can crack but its never happened to my foaf, cover the lids n polyfill with aluminum foil to keep off the moisture

Im pretty sure the jars will withstans the cracking as long as the pressure is right. I boil mine so someone else can give u that info or look in the sterilization teks. And the polyfill i heard is safe in there too.
