I guess I am sort of depressed. I just don't know where my life is going if I'm luck to live another 60-80 years or so ;]. It's just that I got this annoying condition called costochondritis this year which bitches out my chest sometimes and makes it hard to get to sleep.
I'm about to get a felony on my record which basically means wo years of probation and five years of having a felony on my record meaning my chances at getting a job might be really hard, all for driving with a gun and weed in my car - stupid me! Also I can't figure out what to do - I'm torn between trying music or becoming a radiologist technician but now with my felony I might really be fucked but I'm gonna talk with my lawyer tommorow and he's gonna explain what the charges are gonns mean exactly.
So I guess yes I am sort of depressed cause my life has been sort of stuck for a bit and now it seems like I may even be more fucked. But at least I am not going to jail and I'm happy I still have a bed to sleep in, good food and a hot shower haha, but my life and financial independence is looking to be tricky over the next few years. I'm 23 btw. I'll see where all this takes me tho I guess.
i remember you in the anonymous forum... i'm the one whose sister is the nurse, niece is a rad tech and i told you i talked with my friend who's an assistant da for you... maybe you don't remember, no big deal... what caused your costochondritis? trauma, viral, bacterial, fungal? did they say?
i've been playing now for 25 years now, i'm 41... when i was younger i'd work as a service engineer by day and play gigs or practice at night... all of that started to get old the older i got... within the past couple of months i started giving lessons, i have 7 young teen students so far, that's pretty much all i do now besides practice a little each day... i have two friends that are professional musicians, they're both doing very well for themselves... it's a very competitive field but if you're good and make the right moves you can easily support yourself... as far as the rad tech job goes, if this is your first offense and the state laws give the DA latitude you might be able to negotiate sealing the judgment... your lawyer would know more about this though, since you're seeing him tomorrow you can discuss this with them...
i'll say a prayer to the great spirit on your behalf tonight that your meeting with your lawyer is a good one... PeaCe2U...

Thanks. I remember from anon forum. When I got diagnosed they didn't really say so Im not sure where the costochondritis originates from. I guess it could be either one viral, bacterial, fungal or trauma but I don't remember ever doing anything to cause it. When it first started I thought I was having serious attacks until I found out what it was now any time it appears if I touch my rib area I can see where it comes from.
Interesting you give lessons cause I do too actually. Right now I teach about 3 kids a week and I'll probably start advertising again sometimes soon and get more people. I like doing it cause it's not so hard and the money is nice for the time spent teaching. I like self employed work too. Well I guess I'll see what happens tommorow. Thanks.

Dude, I feel your pain... I am depressed as fuck because I just got in legal trouble for the first time (26 years old) and I'm also facing felony charges. I also have a weird condition called diverticulitis, which is a digestive disorder that causes me stomach pain and increases my cravings for opiates.
I don't know what to tell you.. but know that you are not alone.
Word man.... The felony stuff really sucks. Its kinda bs cause as I say it encourages people who get felons to do more illegal work/crimes so I don't really see the point behind it for non violent cases but is what it is I guess.
