chlorpheniramine as an SSRI

hey, so after doing alot of research trying to find over the counter anxiety meds.. (being military, you gotta be careful of what shows up on your health records...), i discovered that chlorpheniramine, an allergy medicine is kind of like a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, basicly, increasing the amount of serotonin in you head...

wondering if anyone else has ever tried it for the psychological effects? i just popped about 32mg of chlorpheniramine maleate and 4 advil (for a little extra boost and the multiplier effect) and i felt so much better right away. what do you guys think of this?

Placebo. 

SSRI type drugs take awhile to work.  That's if they even do.  I take Zoloft and I'm still just as depressed as I ever was.

maybe, could just be the advil haha
i used to take some kind of ssri that was of the amphetamine family of drugs before i joined the military, i dont remember what it was, but it was with a prescription, and it definately worked with only 30mg

its hard to tell, but my anxiety is very mild compared to others with the type of disorder. pretty much took it cause i couldnt find any good seeds around here

chlorpheniramine is an SNRI wich apparently snri's are a little more effective than ssri's?
