I'm not sure about ska, but Bad Brains mix hardcore punk with Reggae.

dude if you like leftover crack check out choking victim (if you don't already know them)

also operation ivy (rancid before they were rancid)

leftover crack/choking victim were my favorite bands in middle/high school.

Yeah like the above dude said. OPERATION IVY MOTHER FUCKER !!!! Ive heard just about every ska band out there (have peeps in the scene) and I just can't get down with ska. Not my thang. Im devout punk and hardcore but I just can't do ska. Op Ivy is my exception. Operation ivy is so good man. I would kill to see a reunion show. They have influenced a lot to. I love that cd so much.

I don't know though, for the most part you have Ska or you have Punk.  Not a lot of mixing. Every now and then a band merges some ska with punk.  But I look at Ska as the Specials, The Toasters, etc.  Punk to me is more like The Casualties, GBH, Exploited, Cock Sparrer,  Cockney Rejects, The Addicts, Sham 69

ska and punk are such different worlds to me, the punk scene didn't really dig the ska scene so much from my pov.  I like it all though.

The best embodiment of the two in one would be The Clash
