I think she regularly drugged her kid as a babysitting device and she accidentally killed her. Just a theory of mine. What do you think happened? How did the kid die?

no it makes her not-guilty in a court of law. innocent is not one of the options. guilty. not-guilty. don't you ever watch Law and Order?

it's rather awesome. you need to push thru the first season tho, it's started slow but by season 2 the show was way better.

I dunno. She may get a book deal, and live out her life in infamy, free, at the top of the the hill. The crazy lady that killed family, like Lizzy Borden. She lived out her days free as a bird, but the consensus was she done it.

I think she should hookup with OJ, obviously. Talk about a power couple!

If punishing someone, anyone, when something bad happens, is "justice" then I'm glad justice sometimes doesn't prevail.
I dunno if she did anything or not, but what I do know is a kid was killed, and most of the people who thought she was guilty and wanted her punished were basing their judgement on emotions, not facts.
Sure, we all want to see someone punished for the murder of a child, but if the choice is between punishing someone who isn't guilty, or punishing no-one, I choose no-one.

inb4 a photo of her smiling proves she is obviously a murderer.

ya its a heavy heavy case because the odds are- she did it, and its fucking obviously

but by the law, you cannot convict her, not enough evidence, completely circumstantial, not justice at all if they had convicted her

so while i still may think she done it, i don't think she should go to jail for it

really sticky situation really. im glad that she is free though.

yes indeed i am glad she is free. it tells me that justice is still upheld even when the emotional force driving most of the opinion surrounding the case was so powerful. there was not enough evidence to convict. she's a free woman. unless we can prove she did it, i don't think it's just to send her to death. even tho personally, i think she did it, her face gives it away, this is NOT ENOUGH TO CONVICT SOMEONE THOUGH, its just my subjective opinion

anytime the state loses a case it gives hope for humanity, even when it's some fucked shit like casey anthony trial, i mean i know it's fucked, but in a backwards way it gives hope for future court cases

a friend of mine was murdered about 20 years ago, the killer was convicted
without leaving any trace of himself being there, no DNA, Hair, finger prints
or blood at the crime scene, no body was ever recovered, no murder weapon
found, the conviction was based on the testimony of one man, another friend
to whom the killer made a few comments about 'killing a faggot'... did
Charles White kill Randal Beck, probably but there was no evidence to prove
he did it

i see what your saying about lack of evidence and all but if you think she killed her child, shouldn't you wish the DA did his job better, and not be glad that you believe a child killer is free?

well yes of course, the case could have been handled differently

there were a lot of :facepalm: tactics (from both sides)

should have framed the case as manslaughter not intentional. they overidentified with her villian persona.....heart sticker on the duct tape? seriously? such bullshit :rolleyes:

my personal verdict: accidental murder/body dump cover up

she may have even just simply THOUGHT she murdered her child when it could have been spontanious and accidental, she gets spooked, tries to dump the body, etc etc. i just dont see any evidence of an actual murder anywhere, i see lots of evidence pointing to a cover up, but nothing that actually points to casey as the murderer.

i don't know shit about the case. i hope she is innocent (because she was found not-guilty, and getting away with murder because a DA or cops suck at their job is appalling) i can't imagine someone being so cold hearted and selfish that they would kill their child.
