Only thing that turns me off on linux is that not many gaming devolopers support the os. That is critical for me. It is overall superior though.

Agreed. Thats not Linux's fault though..

There isn't really any good video editors on Linux either. Blender is the closest thing we have to a competitor for Final Cut. There used to be Smoke before Autodesk dropped support.. although even when it was in production for Linux it wasn't really a viable solution.. it cost something like $11,000 for one license.

Market share continues to grow though.. One day we'll hit the tipping point where everyone will have to support us.
