Anytime I want to feel reeeaally good about tripping, I come here and read chinacat's original posts on the first few pages.

I find his description of the experience incredibly inspiring.

I've been on this forum a time or two before, but this thread inspired me to finally join up. I just got done reading through every page in almost one sitting (I wont count the first 2 pages from when I was linked last night :P). Thank you to all for the amazing stories and sharing of your experiences.

I finally got to experience the wonder that is LSD last year and a 2nd time this year at a music festival. I've done shrooms before then, but lsd totally took me by surprise even though I had done plenty of research. I can 100% say I'm a better person for the experience so far. I wish it wasn't so hard to find though... I've been wanting to take a much higher dose of it sometime, but I think I will wait till summer next year at the music festival for that one I think. Too much stuff going on for that now :smile:

I love this thread.

BUT what I was wondering:
If you give someone a thumprint (like chinacat described) wouldn't the person dipping the finger in the crystals and pushing the print on your palm also get fried outa his mind?
Especially if he did it more then once in a row (giving multiple people a print)

yes the "doser" would get high.
i think i remember chinacat mentioning that when the vial of crystal is opened, it "intoxicates the air" or something to that effect.

On this christmas morning i was a bit bored and decided to do a google search for an image of LSD crystals....i eventually stumbled upon the crystal to blotter reposted on another forum. Soon thereafter i found myself on the first page of this thread, and for the past 2 hours ive been absolutely glued...The stories by CC and WR were absolutely touching and tears filled my eyes through reading most of them..I could sit here and talk about my little experience with LSD but i know i would just be preaching to the choir...Thank you for this thread, it has changed my outlook on life, and i hope that one day i may become close enough with the family to be reborn via. Thumbprint.

How is that hard to believe? This isn't the only place I've read that. Look at anthrax.. you can easily die just from opening a box of it. if LSD is extremely potent and is in POWDER form, what's keeping it from not going up into the air once its container is opened?

If LSD can cause effects at the microgram range (1,000,000th of a gram), then opening a jar containing 10 grams of crystal LSD would surely let enough molecules of LSD into the surrounding air to cause effects.

Yeah, if you open it in a wind tunnel.  Read the chinacat post, its really interesting, but some of his beliefs are pretty far out there.
