You'll have to wait if you want to know. If you see signs of contamination, dump it, if don't, then wait untill you birth it and check the cake very well.
Separating the jars is a good precaution but not really necessary at this stage, i normally let incubate contaminated jars among the others but i put the contaminated ones inside a closed plastic bag and just open it to check out.

dude vermiculate smells very sour, untill imycelium starts eating up the substrate my jars always smell very sour... so wait untill you are sure...

very true... Butthead opens his jars to get air in them and a sour smell comes from them. Don't think opening the jars is a wise idea but so far so good says butthead :-)Make sure you spray the shit out of the room with lysol before doing what butthead did :-)
