Its a stoner movie. I just remembered it cuz they try counterfeiting to buy weed and fail miserably at it. Its a bit more of an obscure movie than a lot of other stoner flicks, anyone recognize it?

My buddies used go to casinos with fake money. Only small local places but they've funny stories.

"You have to make them want the note",they said. "Bit of chat,eye contact,banter,all natural. You cross his palm with the note and he won't think twice."

They were young then though,I don't think they'd chance it again. Anytime they hear Zorba The Greek it reminds them of it as when they were winning and on top it came on inside there:cool:

they feel different, the paper is slick if it's done on commonly available
papers, there's papers available that can defeat the detection pens but they
tend to feel rougher

I've known a counterfeiter like I knew myself, my brother worked for a guy
that owned a printing company who wasnt allowed within $500 feet of the
business because of the sentencing when he was busted for counterfeiting and
a few years ago I met someone that was passing bad paper

Did that seem at all fake to anyone else?  Or are people just that stupid? 

Why would he just open up to people he didn't know well enough to not know that they were undercover cops? 

The positioning of his workspace in that room seemed somewhat odd to me.

How did they get the camera in the room where he was changing the money if he was just showing them for the first time?

Why would he want to show his customers every step of the process?  So that they can do it themselves and not need his services anymore?

Also, I wonder what the key steps they left out were...

That was their garage, not the counterfeiter's. "...in a garage behind the storefront."

It was obviously arranged for him to set up shop at their location.

Still, any theories on why he would show his customers exactly how to do it?  Especially people he barely knew?

I guess some people are just really dumb and I need to take that fact into consideration a bit more.

A lot of high end printers will shut down if money is copied, don't know for sure but probably if printed too. Printer shuts down with a general status code to call the repair tech, who then interprets the code and is obliged to report.

Not back in 1998.

Now a days, if you try to scan money into photoshop, it won't let you. Never heard of a printer shutting down if trying to print money.

You can spot a fake bill at a festival?  Do you always closely look at every bill someone gives you? 













Hell yeah i check every bill! If i take fake money, its money out of my pocket.... , and that shit does not fly by me... its not the money, but the fact that someone got over on me...

another thing. I sell purple UV lasers, which are actually able to light up the magnetic strips in any bill to prove their authenticity. I could even theoritically tell if the bill was washed, because the color and location of the strip would be off. Hasn't happened yet though.

But yeah, i definately did get offered a fake $100 im pretty sure it was at a phish show in indiana.
