cambodians in brf?

so i got some cambodian #3 spores from hawkes eye and im wondering if these are pan cyans and it wont work or are they just reg cubes and im ok and dont have to redo my 20 brf 1/2pt jars lol. plz help . will these spores work for my brf jars?

Those cakes right there in the tub were RR's let's grow mushroom videos Tek. They're half pints in a shot gun fruiting chamber (SGFC) 2 inch holes apart from each other with a 6 inch layer of perlite. My second and third flushes were the biggest. I got 6 inch tall mushies off those little BRF cakes man we just kept dunking. However, we were misting and fanning every 3 hours on the money. Even at night. The work paid off...

And don't even risk breaking down the cakes. The BRF is easier to do as is. If you wanna break some cakes down then get you some quart jars  with wild bird seed (WBS) and bulk those and eventually move up to using oven bags. Im starting a batch of turkey sized reynolds wrap oven bags right now. Gonna do 40 lbs @ 10lbs. each using an LC. BRF cakes are awesome though. Good luck!

i actually built a nice lil grow room, and i got it heated right and hepa filters all the sterile stuff and i actually happen to have boxes of turkey bags lol. and i was thinkn bout the wbs or rye, which do u think is better? and how do i use turkey bags? and i have a LC goin, im tryna get like 10-20 lbs a month how can i do that? do i neeed to use poo?

Some people prefer Rye due to the grains being uniform in size, making it easier to get the moisture content down without/with minimal burst kernels. Whereas with WBS you've got multiple dif grains and it may take you a try or 2 to get the prep down (by tweaking existing teks) without bursting kernels prior to PCing. though some prefer WBS due to it's easiness to obtain, cost(it's cheap) and the variety of grain within.

Just work with what you can get, either will work just fine.

Not sure what a turkey bag is, is that an oven bag?


And, none of my business I know, but wtf you gonna do with 10-20lbs of cubensis a month?

i have 20 1/2 pint jars goin, should i crumble and case or just dunk and roll? what will give me better yeilds and how much should i get from them all? and what time of year do i start an outdoor crop?

Crumble and spawn you mean or did you really mean case?

Casing cakes will not increase your yields, considering your casing will be ~50% verm and cakes are already ~66% verm. Spawning, to bulk substrate however, will definitely increase your yield though the time spent crumbling cakes and the extra vectors for contamination opened during the process just never seemed worth it imo.

Cakes are best fruited as cakes. Practice casing a few if you're intending to step on over to species that require casings, such as Pan Cyans, otherwise I'd just fruit them as cakes.

But that's just me.

m00nshine has a decent tek in his sig for going bulk with cakes for noobs if that's more up your alley.

As far as an outdoor patch goes, start it whenever your area's temps are right for colonization and, of course, start your jars indoors prior to that to have them ready for whenever that time may be. This is all providing your area can support the growth of P.cubensis outdoors.

laughing? is that not realistic? i have really unlimited resources to try anything, i was thinking about after these brf cakes im gunna try like 10-20 big 3 pint wbs jars and steralize and inoculate them and spawn them to poo. can i use cow poo? i actually live close to a pasture. and i was also wondering about my last batch of brf jars, they al got infected, but i was doing it in a room where other plants are growing, so i built a serile room of course but for outdoors, if i am trying to big outdoor of shrooms this year, say next to some other plants does that make the risk of contams go up to much to even try?

how is it stupid? i dont think it is at all, all i do is grow medical, so i have all the extra time in the world, and the space, and the buyers, so i dunno y it has to be stupid, i thought it was a great idea, its super cheap to do no matter how u do it.

Dude im in texas but do you need a trimmer/mycologist!
Try wild bird seed quart jars. That was my next step. I just made 10, 6 lb. oven bags of wbs. I made some 10 pounders but rushed the cool down in the PC and ruined them. Gonna use my LC's.
